Events and Activities : CP Historical Society to hold 13th Annual Cemetery Walk Sunday, September. 29

The Center Point Historical Society will hold their 13th Annual Cemetery Walk on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.

The Center Point Historical Society continues the tradition of an annual Sunday afternoon visit with late friends and neighbors in the Center Point Cemetery.

Jacob Lemuel Floyd (1826-1905) will be portrayed by Jon Brendel; Smith Squiers (1856-1920) by Philip Andersen; Elsie Heverly Eller Condon (1892-1989) by Alex McClure; Virginia Sarchett Castek (1917-2010) by DeEtta Andersen; and Paul Roseberry (1913-2001) by John Stuelke.

Guests are invited to bring lightweight lawn chairs and wear comfortable walking shoes.

In case of rain, the event will in the Depot Museum with projected gravesite photos. This year's Cemetery Walk is free.
