The Vinton Kiwanis "Bring the Noise" 5k run starts on the Benton County Courthouse lawn at 8am on Saturday, August 27.

Deadline for registration is Sunday, August 21.

TP August 16, 2011, 7:44 pm I heard that the starting gun for the race will be big and loud. After the race, come to the Benton County Fairgrounds for a all you can eat pancake breakfast. It\'s held by the Iowa Pyrotechnic Association. \"We put the Boom in Boomtown.\"
