Mark your calendars for the Annual Benefit Ride for our local Vinton Shellsburg United Special Olympics Team! All PROCEEDS REMAIN WITH OUR LOCAL VSU TEAM!!!The event will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The cost is $15 per person or $20 per coupleRegistration begins at 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Ron-Da-Voo Deli and Lounge, located at 414 1st Ave. Vinton, IA.*Kick Stands up at 11:00 am.The route runs for 135 miles:
Ron-Da-Voo (Vinton) Lunch Stop: Wild Hogs (Walford)Front Street Tap (Brooklyn) Keystone Turner Hall (Keystone) Hitchen Post (Garrison) Final stop, Vinton American Legion (105 North R Ave Vinton) 5:30 pmFood will be provided at the Final Stop in the American Legion along with 50/50 poker hand, Dollar Raffle prizes and a Live Auction.Grand Prize Raffle Tickets Available
$5 each or 5 for $20 for a chance to win $1500 CashThe money raised goes strictly to our team for equipment, transportation, lodging, uniforms, food and drinks. We currently provide for bowling, basketball and track and field.
