Events and Activities : Walk/Run for Life June 12 in Atkins; teams sought for ACS fund-raiser

The annual Benton County American Cancer Society Walk/Run for Life will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at the Atkins City Park.

This event allows teams and individuals to walk or run on a one- or three-mile course through Atkins or on the Roundhouse Trail. Cancer survivors will be honored, and those who have lost their battle to cancer will be remembered

Teams are being sought; the registration deadline is May 1.
