The need for donated blood is constant because hospitals rely on life-saving blood products to treat patients for routine and emergency medical situations. Maintaining an adequate blood supply is especially important going into the Independence Day holiday, which is a time when the number of blood donations typically decreases.

Eligible blood donors are encouraged to help boost the blood supply by making a donation at any of the following blood drive(s)!

  • Vinton Community Blood Drive, Friday, June 22, 2012 from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM at US Bank Community Room, 414 A Avenue.
  • Shellsburg Community Blood Drive, Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM at Wildcat Golf Course, 100 Wildcat Trail SW.

Sign up to save a life today! Schedule a blood donation appointment online at www.lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800.287.4903.
