Vinton American Legion Post 57 Upcoming Meal Information

The Vinton American Legion Post 57 will not be having tenderloin fries in November and December due to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Starting with the December 9th Fish Fry we will be serving french fries in place of baked potatoes.

The Luzerne firemen’s supper will be held on Saturday, November 19 and will be serving from 5 to 8:00 p.m. The menu included pork loin sandwiches, cheese potatoes, baked beans and dessert for a freewill donation.

St. John Lutheran Church (Newhall) to host Soup Supper November 16

St. John Lutheran Church, Newhall, will host a soup supper Wednesday, November 16, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The menu includes homemade chili, oyster stew, chicken noodle soup, salads, sandwiches, pie and a drink for a freewill offering.
