Vinton Guild of Fine Arts to Donate Proceeds from Silent Auction

The Winter Sled is made from a vintage Flexible Flyer II sled. The arrow is part of its original decorations when new.  The guild added the winter design to make it a nice addition to any porch, fireplace hearth, or anywhere you care to use it.

Children can mail a letter to Santa in downtown Vinton

If your child would like to mail a letter to the North Pole, they are welcome to drop their letters off at the mailbox located downtown Vinton. The mailbox will be available following Santa's arrival during the Christmas Parade.

Annual Christmas Parade and Chili Supper Tonight November 18

The Annual Christmas Parade, organized by area veterans, will take place tongiht, Thursday evening November 18th. Anyone can be in the parade. Simply arrive and line up on the south and east side of the United Methodist Church (next to the library) at 5:30 p.
