Annual Craft & Bake Sale

On Saturday, November 2nd the Vinton Skate and Activity Center will be the hot spot to get all your craft and baked goods in Vinton.  The Vinton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting our annual sale beginning at 8:00am and ending at approximately 1:00pm The department has had a great sign up by vendors including yummy baked goods, candles, wood crafts, jewelry, chocolates, quilts, jerky and more.

Space available in upcoming beginning trapper workshops

Four beginning trapper workshops are scheduled in October. Activities vary by workshop, but participants can expect to learn the basics of trapping, ethical and responsible techniques, proper gear, skinning/fur handling methods, trap types and more.
