The 7th Annual Vinton-Shellsburg United  (VSU) Special Olympics Benefit Ride is set for Saturday, Aug. 20, in Vinton.  The ride will begin at Mickey's Bar in Vinton, were registration takes place from 10 to 11 a.

The community of Shellsburg will be celebrating the completion of the Prairie Forest Trail entrance on Saturday, June 25th. Members of the Shellsburg Area Community Group (SACG) will be present that morning between 9:00am and 11:30am to greet people and provide information about the trail project.

All of the offices are highly important to the chapter and it’s members and each officer is required to attend COLT, Chapter Officer Leadership Training, in order to be sure that they all know what is expected of them as an officer.
