VS bowlers plan 9-Pin fund-raiser, Nov. 1

The Vinton-Shellsburg Bowling team is ready to hit the lanes in November for their second year of bowling competitively.  We are kicking off the bowling season with our 2nd Annual 9 Pin Bowling tournament on November 1st.

Paranormal Group to present depot findings, Oct. 25

Come to the Ray House on Saturday, October 25 if you dare!!!   The Eastern Iowa Paranormal Group will be presenting their findings from overnight stays at the Ray House, Vinton Depot and Horridge House.

Reformation Breakfast at Trinity Lutheran Church - Sunday October 26 at 10:15-11:15am. Trinity's youth groups will host a breakfast in honor of Reformation Day! Menu items include french toast with a toppings bar, pastries, fruit, and bacon! Come for the worship service at 9:00am, stay for breakfast immediately following, and bring a friend! Admission is free, though a free-will offering will be taken with proceeds going to support youth group events.
