Vinton Parks and Recreation is introducing F.A.C. (Friday After Class)! Starting Nov 1st, we will be opening the Skate Center from 1:30 - 3:30 PM on select Fridays through February for drop-in activities!! This will be for students in 4th-8th grade within the V/S school district.

Andrew Carnegie's Riches in Iowa: Vinton, will be presented by Dr. Shana L. Stuart of the Carnegie Libraries in Iowa Project.   Dr. Stuart will be sharing information on our library's history.

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., The Vinton Public Library will hold an Open Craft Night. Everyone is welcome. Come along and bring your favorite craft as we enjoy the company of fellow crafters.

The Vinton Public Library will host a Quilting Workshop on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (extended hours).There will be machines, fabric and experienced quilters on hand to help you work on your block for our Community Quilt Project.
