Events and Activities : VS alumni softball game set for Friday evening; 20 former Vikettes to play

Vinton-Shellsburg assistant softballl coach Emily Grimm says nearly 20 players have signed up to play in the first-ever Vinton-Shellsburg alumni softball game.

The event takes place this Friday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m., at the VS softball field, behind Tilford Elementary.

There will be a $5 gate fee for adults ($3 for students). All money raised will support the V-S softball program. All Vikette fans are encouraged to come see the former players.
