Events and Activities : Social Host Ordinance training set for March 18

On October 24, 2012, Benton County’s Social Host Ordinance took         effect. At this time efforts are being made to have this ordinance                      implemented in all Benton County towns. This training is being offered to provide information from the law enforcement perspective on the             importance of this ordinance, how it can be effectively implemented, and the benefits to the community. 

The event takes place from 3-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at St. John's Lutheran Church, at 310 2nd St E,  Newhall.

The speaker will be CPL. Steve Eastvedt of the Dubuque Police Department, whose is also the president of the Dubuque Area Substance Abuse Coalition.
