Events and Activities : Blessing of the Animals service set for Sunday at Vinton Presbyterian Church

The Presbyterian Church of Vinton will host a Blessing of the Animals Service on Sunday, October 2 at 2 p.m. This event is open to the community and all ages are welcome.

There will be a short service, followed by a special blessing said for each pet in attendance. Pets who participate will each receive a certificate of blessing with their name on it. This will be followed by treats for pets and time for socialization.

Past years have included a variety of pets: dogs, cats, ponies, hamsters, chinchillas, and more. All pets are welcome. Pet owners are asked to bring their animals leashed or in carriers.
