The meeting of the North Eden Willing Workers 4-H club was scheduled for September 24th and postponed to October 2nd due to flooding hazards. The meeting was called to order at 4:00 in St. Mary's Catholic church in Vinton after the awards ceremony at Vinton-Shellsburg high school.

Several members attended and served ice cream at the awards ceremony, due to the high attendance, our club was awarded a pizza party. Members were recognized at the meeting for awards received. A reminder was given that dues are to be paid next month. We will not have a homecoming float in the parade this year. Members with animals are to sign up to take to Kacena's Pumpkin Patch for their petting zoo Saturday Oct. 8th. It was moved and seconded that we will go to AirFX for our Christmas party. We will also be caroling at the Lutheran Home and Windsor Manor in December.
