Events and Activities : 2016 VGH Holiday Tree Walk starts Nov 1

Virginia Gay Hospital, Vinton, IA "� There's still time to show off your holiday decorating skills and creativity by donating a completed Christmas tree or wreath to the Virginia Gay Hospital's 7th Annual Holiday Tree Walk.

Set up is scheduled in the hospital's lobby on Tuesday, November 1 but you are asked to contact Kim Frank as soon as possible if you plan to participate. You can call her at 319-472-6200 or send an email to kfrank@vghinc.com

Beautifully adorned and brilliantly illuminated holiday decorations will then be on display at Virginia Gay Hospital through November 22. Seven years ago the Cardiopulmonary Services Department began hosting the "Holiday Tree Walk"� as a way to contribute to the annual fundraising efforts of the hospital.

Completely decorated Christmas trees and wreaths are donated by generous local individuals, businesses and VGH departments and silent auction bids are taken until Tuesday, November 22, at 5pm sharp, when the winners are announced!

The public is invited, and welcome to view the trees any day of the week (night or day) and place their bids.
