Vinton American Legion
The Vinton American Legion is planning on the following events, for Memorial Day, May 29th.
8:00 a.m. Military Honors at Maplewood Cemetery, off of R Ave.
If it is raining at the start time, of the above events, that event will be canceled.
11:00 a.m. Memorial Service at the Veteran's Memorial Park.(Near the Rec Center)
In case of rain the Memorial service will be moved to the Vinton American Legion Building, 105 North R Ave.
Bear Creek Church Located onV 21, known as Brandon Blacktop Sunday, May 28th, from 1-3 p.m, Bear Creek Church will hold an open house, refreshments served. Monday, Memorial Day,Coffee, Juice, Assorted Rolls, will be served from 7:30-10:30 a.m. A Memorial Day Service will be held at the Bear Creek Cemetery at 9:00 a.m.
