Events and Activities : Shellsburg American Legion Riders plan 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off, Jan. 28

The Shellsburg American Legion Riders plan to host their 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Pearl Street Social Club. All proceeds will go toward the Benton County Freedom Rock. The cost is $5 to enter your chili and eat or $5 for all you can eat. Those entering or only eating will be voting. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Chili must be entered by noon. Contest begins at 1 with winners announced at 3pm. Pearl Street Social Club has generously offered to host this event.
