Events and Activities : Volunteers Needed For Community Service Day on Nov. 2

AmeriCorps NCCC is hosting a community service day with Old School Produce on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9:00-6:00 pm. We are looking for volunteers to assist with closing down the garden, organizing the irrigation system and taking down the tunnel. By assisting with these tasks we can make sure that the garden is ready for Spring.

Three shifts are being offered: 9-12 p.m., 1-3 p.m., and 3-6 p.m. All ages are welcome but those under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Lunch and work gloves will be provided to all volunteers. Please bring water to stay hydrated.
