Events and Activities : Benton County Historical Society to Host Fall Vendor Market

The Benton County Historical Society is hosting the Benton County Historical Society Fall Market on October 18, 2025 from 10:00am - 5:00pm at the Vinton American Legion (George G. Luckey Post 57). 

The Benton County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving local history and being a resource for genealogical research for Benton County is the primary goal of the Benton County Historical Society.  Operating as an all-volunteer organization since 1971, involvement of members as well as non-members is key to obtaining this goal.

The Benton County Historical Society is excited to host its Fall Market, a free, family-friendly event filled with fun for all ages! While admission is free, free will donations are appreciated to support the Society’s mission.

Guests can enjoy face painting, pumpkin painting, and other kid-friendly activities, along with browsing a wide variety of local vendors. Vendors include metaphysical shops, children’s books, paranormal teams, baked goods, homemade jewelry, coffee shops, all-natural energy drinks, and much more. The Fall Market will also feature two special guests: Author Richard Estep and Filmmaker/Author Josh Heard.

For those looking for an exclusive experience, a private Meet & Greet and Special Guest/Host Panel will be available. Attendees will have the chance to take photos with our special guests and participate in a private Q&A session. Tickets for this experience are $15, with all proceeds benefiting the Benton County Historical Society. Tickets are available on the website under the “BCHS Fall Market” tab.

Additional offerings, at a cost, from the Benton County Historical Society are private overnight paranormal investigations of the Horridge House.
