“Every time you shop or dine local, you’re buying more than a product or service. You’re investing in dreams, jobs, and the heart of our community,” said Nicole Taylor, Dysart Chamber President. “Small Business Season reminds us that local choices make a lasting difference. Together, we can help our neighbors and our town thrive.”
Throughout the season, the Chamber encourages residents to explore local favorites, discover new businesses, and share their experiences on social media to inspire others. From boutique shopping and family-owned restaurants to festive holiday events, Small Business Season shines a light on the people and places that make Dysart special.
“When you support local businesses, you’re supporting our schools, youth programs, and community causes,” Taylor added. “Local spending builds momentum — powering the people, places, and possibilities that define Dysart.”
Research shows that for every $100 spent at a local business, about $68 stays within the community, compared to only $43 spent at a national chain. That reinvestment supports jobs, infrastructure, and essential services, creating a ripple effect that strengthens the entire community.
