Events and Activities : Red Cedar Ikes to hold 7th annual banquet Oct. 22

On Saturday October 22, the Red Cedar Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America will hold its 7th Annual fund raising banquet at the Vinton Country Club.  Doors will open at 5:00 pm and Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm.  There will be several games, general raffle, silent auction, and live auction.  Items range from guns, archery equipment, fishing/camping equipment, prints, hotel stays, football tickets, and a lot of miscellaneous items already donated by area businesses and individuals.

All funds raised the night of the banquet will be used for various conservation related projects within Benton County, with a special emphasis this year on trying to replace trees that were destroyed by the July 11th storm.
