Events and Activities : Fall Aquacise Programs scheduled

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department has two fall aquacise programs for anyone interested in keeping fit during the upcoming Autumn months. The five week fall session of Aqua Aerobics will begin on October 9th and will be held at the Braille School Indoor Pool on Sundays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The class will meet for a total of 10 dates and the cost is $50. Please register for this program by Thursday, October 6th.

VPRD also has begun its fall Adult Lap Swim program at the Braille School Indoor Pool. Lap Swim time is from 6:10 AM to 7:15 AM on the following October dates: 3, 5, 6 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26, 27 and 31. The cost for the month is $20. Participants may also register for dates in November, December and January if they wish. Participants may register for this program at any time.

Particpants of both programs must pre-register by either printing off and mailing in a registration form from www.vprdzone.com or by registering at the Vinton Recreation Center. Please call the VPRD office at 472-4164 with any questions that you may have. See you at the pool!
