Events and Activities : Vinton-Shellsburg High School Band and Vocal Department to hold concert Monday

On Monday, December 5, the Vinton-Shellsburg High School Band and Vocal Department will be holding a Holiday Concert at 7 P.M. in the VSHS Auditorium. The program will feature the Women's Chorale, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Symphonic Band.  Also performing before the concert and during intermission will be the student group, Santa's Saxes.  Santa's Saxes is a group of saxophone students from around the area that study with Mrs. Lynn Hart of Cedar Rapids. The Vinton-Shellsburg High School Band Department currently has a student studying in Mrs. Hart's studio, Nick Gardner.
