Friends of the Shelter, Inc. has reached a long term goal of providing an easily accessible community resource, education, and adoption center in this area. We recently purchased a building with a storefront location in downtown Vinton, IA. It will provide a convenient site for visitors, volunteers, potential adopters and those looking for help with resources that we can offer or direct them to.
Stop in Thursday, May 3 for a visit and meet Tassie and some of her friends from 5pm-7pm. We are located at 211 W. 4th Street (formerly KT's Closet) across from the theater. We plan to be open most Thursday evenings this summer and other special event days, dates and times will be posted.
