Events and Activities : Garrison library project:$100,000 already raised; efforts continue with Festival

Garrison Library Update:  It's not just a library anymore!  Latest plans (still to be finalized) include a city office and a community room.  Over $100,000 has been raised, and this does not include insurance money!  Please come to our Fall Festival at the Lutheran Church this Sunday, Sept. 23, from 4-7.  All money raised will go toward the new building.  At 4:00 there will be a scavenger hunt for the kids.  All kids will get treasure chests packed with toys and candy.  There will be more games for the kids, a Spaghetti Supper (free will donation,) and a Silent Auction.  Awesome door prizes include gift cards to Target, John's Qwik Stop, Pizza Ranch, and more!  See you there!
