Events and Activities : B-I-N-G-O! VPRD plans games Feb. 24

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is excited about hosting another fun night of Bingo at the Vinton Skate & Activity Center for this winter season. This Sunday, February 24th, the center will turn in to a bingo hall from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and the cool thing is it is free! That’s right because of the overwhelming sponsorship, everyone can come out and have a great time and it won’t cost a penny.

Last month we had a great crowd even though it was the day of the big ice storm. This Sunday, we anticipate another good turnout and once again lots of fun. We had individuals from 2 years old through 90 year olds. The good thing is it doesn’t matter what your age, everybody can win. And yes, the rumors are correct; we are honored to have that spectacular caller back for another time. There are no limits to the type of games he will be playing from the traditional bingos to the picture frames to the final event of the night, Blackout! This year we have the Wheel of Bingo to help us pick the next game.
