Starting in 2014, the Presbyterian Church of Vinton began providing meals for the community on Christmas day.  The mission was simple:  give a good meal to those who would otherwise be alone or without on Christmas day.

Johns Qwik Stop to hold Post Prom/Kiwanis Fundraising Event

This Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00, John Ketchen and John's Qwik Stop will continue their history of generously supporting Vinton-Shellsburg school activities and community groups with a car wash fundraiser for the Vinton-Shellsburg Post Prom events and the Vinton Kiwanis Club.

A reminder for those who have pre-registered that Breakfast with Santa (Drive-thru style!) will be held this Saturday, December 5th, 9-11:00 am $5.00 for anyone taking breakfastSanta will be handing out gift bags through vehicle windows and breakfast will be given in to-go containers.
