Year after year blood centers across the country see a drastic dip in donations during the warmer months due to donors' plans for summer fun: weddings, vacations, and outdoor events take up time when donors would normally come in and make a lifesaving gift.

SUMMER SUPERHEROES NEEDED

Not all superheroes wear capes; some of them roll up their sleeves with LifeServe Blood Center. LifeServers who come out to save lives through blood donation are eligible to order a limited edition summer superhero t-shirt to show off their lifesaving hobby! With each blood donation, donors earn online store points that can be used to redeem this season's t-shirt as well as other fun LifeServe gear.

On May 4th the major UHS music ensembles traveled to Marion High School to perform at the State Large Group Music Festival. This is the annual culmination of the hard work the students put in during the year.
