Vinton area event calls upon community volunteers to make an impact through exterior home repair projects Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity (CVHFH), in partnership with AmeriCorps NCCC, Farmers Savings Bank & Trust, Thrivent Financial, HACAP and the East Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund, is set to host a five-day exterior painting and repair blitz through itsA Brush with Kindness(ABWK) program.

Habitat for Humanity's Brush with Kindness project is underway and having great success! Crews of volunteers and AmeriCorps workers have completed one project already and are nearing completion ontwo more locations.

Friends of 4-H is a committee that was created by the Benton County Extension Council in June of 2015. Its purpose is to fundraise and provide scholarships for the youth enrolled in Benton County 4-H.
