Vinton Feeds the World project to return; fund-raising dinner set for Aug. 26

A fund-raising meal for the Vinton Feeds the World event will take place from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. All proceeds from this free-will offering event will go toward purchasing supplies for the Vinton Feeds the World effort to package more than 25,000 meals.

The Vinton Parks and Recreation's 13th Annual Doggie Dip will take place next Sunday, Aug. 23, from 1-4 p.m. at the Vinton pool. Cost is $3 per dog (owners admitted free!) Here’s an opportunity for you and your dogs to swim and play in the water.
