Go 4 the Pin! Golf 4 Wrestlers, May 11
The 4th Annual "Go 4 the Pin! Golf 4 Wrestlers!" tournament. It is being held on Saturday, May 11. Tee times are 12:30 and 3:30 with lunch served between tee times.

Breast Cancer Survivors to meet May 7
Breast Cancer Survivors will meet Tuesday, May 7 at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and conversation at Windsor Manor in the dining room. Free will donation for the meal.

Historical trip to NYC/DC in 2014: Meeting set for students interested
There will be a Parents' meeting on Sunday, May 5, at 7 pm in the HS LMC for anyone whose student may be interested in going to DC/NYC in April in 2014.

Poppy Day, Thursday May 16th
The American Legion Unit 57, will be holding the annual Poppy Day.
For each donation you make, you receive a poppy to thank you.
Donations are used for the purpose of helping the area Veterans.

Bike Rodeo safety event set for May 7
Along with the warmer springtime weather comes an increase in the number of children with bikes out and about within the community.
To make sure that local youth are well educated on proper road etiquette and bicycle safety, the Vinton Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting its annual 'Bike Safety Rodeo' on Tuesday, May 7th at the Vinton Recreation Center parking lot.
