BENTON COUNTY EXTENSION TO HOST “ASK THE EXPERT” AT THE BENTON COUNTY FAIR COMMERCIAL EXHIBIT BUILDING
July 14th - 17th we will have an ISU Extension Expert available to answer questions about several topics of interest including, Ag Engineering, Crops, Veterinary Medicine, Master Gardening, Farm Management and Children’s Summer Science Discovery Camp.

Cookout Contest planned at the Benton County Fair
An outdoor cooking contest designed to promote Iowa meat is being planned by the Benton County Farm Bureau. Contest coordinator, Bill Newton says, “You don't have to be an expert chef to participate; you just need to enjoy cooking outdoors with quality Iowa meat.
