Events and Activities : “Survival Day, Get Out Alive”

“Survival Day, Get Out Alive” at the Benton County Nature Center- Oct. 26th 9am to 2pm.  Come out to the Nature Center and learn some techniques and skills that just might save your life.  Karen and Aaron will share some helpful hints about ways to build shelters, stay warm and dry, build a fire without matches, make your own survival bracelet, make some food, and a few surprises we don’t want to share just yet. Please pre-register by Thursday Oct. 24th by calling (319) 472-4942.  Cost for program is $7 for food and materials.
