The Benton County Community Foundation (BCCF) is rescheduling the luncheon for professional advisors. Originally scheduled on Thursday, May 7 in Vinton, it will now be on Thursday, September 24 in Vinton. The event is an opportunity for professional advisors, including attorneys, CPA’s, CFP’s, trust officers, insurance agents and others, to learn more about BCCF and discuss how working with the Foundation can be part of assisting their clients in meeting their financial and philanthropic goals.
Jamar Thompson, Affiliate Development Director, Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, will discuss a variety of topics including transfer of wealth statistics, Endow Iowa 25% state tax credit, types of funds, ways to give and general community foundation background.
The event will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kirkwood Community College, Benton County Center, 111 W 3rd St, Vinton, IA 52349. A complimentary lunch will be provided. Additional information will be provided in the coming months. There is no cost to attend this event.
