Events and Activities : Borleske Celebrating 85th Birthday with Open House

The Rev. Phil Borleske is turning 85 years old and we’ll be hosting a birthday open house for him on January 11, 2026 at 1 p.m. - 3.30 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church’s fellowship hall, 1206 C Avenue in Vinton. 

Cake and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Cards are welcome; gifts aren’t expected. Since Phil and his late wife Phyllis retired to Vinton in 2007, Phil’s been an influential and active member of the community, volunteering and serving numerous organizations including Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lions Club, Benton County Historical Society, and Old School Produce Partners, as well as serving many local churches in the area.
