REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGDECEMBER 10, 2020 A regular meeting of the City Council of Vinton, Iowa was held on the 10th day of December, 2020 at 7:00pm. Due to COVID-19 virus, the meeting was held electronically using Zoom which was hosted at 110 W 3rd Street. Mayor Maynard presided with roll being called the following Council Members were present and absent: Present: Edwards, Elwick, Hessenius, Parr, Stark.

December 15, 2020 The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Primmer, Bierschenk and Seeman present. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. at the Benton County Service Center’s conference room. Members of the public were provided the zoom access capability to join in during open session and watch live at the county’s YouTube channel.

Due to the rising COVID-19 cases in Benton County, there are many concerns about reducing the risk of spread. The library will operate under "Orange" Status, which enforces some strict guidelines about services offered.Ok, so what does "orange status" really mean?The library building continues to remain closed to the public.Patrons can call in requests for materials via email or phone, with material pickup available 2 days a week.
