PPEL vote passes in Vinton-Shellsburg School District

The PPEL Vote, which was a vote to renew the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy was approved extending the levy that has been in place since 1989. It will generate about $700,000 each year and will be spent on things like new roofs, new busses, desks, chairs, other furniture, cement for the parking lots, windows, computers, and etc.

PPEL Vote - Is today, on Tuesday, September 10. The vote will an election on whether or not to renew the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy. If approved, it would extend the levy that has been in place since 1989 (when the Shellsburg and Vinton districts combined).
