October 29, 2024The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Primmer, Bierschenk and Seeman present, Supervisor Primmer called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. at the Benton County Service Center. An arrest or criminalcharge is merely an accusation, and the Defendant is presumed innocent, unless proven guilty. Intrastate Warrants are issued by Law Enforcement Agencies for crimes happening in their jurisdictions.

Auditor of State Rob Sand today released a report on the City of Atkins for the year ended June 30, 2023.  A copy of this report is available at https://www.auditor.iowa.gov/reports/file/78058.pdf or it can be seen below.Sand reported eighteen findings related to the receipt and disbursement of taxpayer funds.
