Adult Arrests

February 9: Quentin J. McNeal 23 Garrison; Charged with Driving Under Suspension (Simple Misdemeanor) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Serious Misdemeanor).

February 10: Anthony J. Douglas 26 Marion; Charged with Driving Under Suspension (Simple Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor).

February 14: Ryan L. Evens 26 Cedar Rapids; Charged with Public Intoxication – 1st Offense (Simple Misdemeanor).

Juvenile Referrals

January 30 A 16 year old male was referred to Juvenile Probation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor).

Seven citations were issued in February. Two citations resulted from two reported traffic accidents, one for curfew violation 1st offense, and the remainder for other offenses.

Twenty-two written warnings were issued in February.

Four parking/snow removal violations were issued in February.

For the month of February 129 complaints/calls for service were handled by the Vinton Police Department.
