Juvenile Referrals

May 3 A 17 year old male was referred to Juvenile Probation for Possession of Alcohol as a Minor (Simple Misdemeanor).

May 11 A 14 year old male was referred to Juvenile Probation for Assault Causing Injury (Serious Misdemeanor).

Twenty Citations were issued in May. One resulted from one reported traffic accidents, one for minor using tobacco – 1st offense, and the remainder were for other offenses.

Six written warnings were issued in May.

One Parking Violation was issued in May.

For the month of May, 197 Complaints/Calls for Service were handled by the Vinton Police Department.
