Benton County Sheriff Randall Forsyth reports that deputies answered 316 calls for service and investigated 38 accidents. Deputies attempted to serve 113 civil papers and issued 10 traffic citations and 19 traffic warnings.
There were 16 arrests/juvenile referrals with 19 charges being filed in November 2015.
(5) were felony charges, (7) were simple misdemeanors, and (7) were indictable misdemeanors.
Charges included: Arrest Warrants served – 10; Disorderly Conduct – 1; Harassment – 1; Interference With Official Acts – 2; Public Intoxication – 1; Violation of No Contact Order -2.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
