Charged with Criminal Trespass 1st Offense.   November 15 McKenzy Faith Callan 18 Shellsburg, IA Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   Cole Alexander Clark 24 Vinton, IA Arrested on Intrastate Warrant for Recommitment After Bail on Original Charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Meth 1st and Marijuana 1st.   Juvenile Referrals   November 15 17-year-old Male Juvenile Referral for Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness.   17-year-old Female Juvenile Referral for Possession of Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1st and Possession of a Controlled Substance.     Two citations were issued for the Week of November 12 – November 18, 2018 for Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability, and Speed.   Eleven written warnings for offenses were issued the Week of November 12 – November 18, 2018 for Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device, Insufficient Number of Headlights, Operating Non-Registered Vehicle, Improper Registration Plate Lamp, Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability, Failure to Maintain the Use of Safety Belts- Adult, Equipment Repair, and Speed.   Three Reported Motor Vehicle Accidents for the Week of November 12 – November 18, 2018.   For the Week of November 12 – November 18, 2018– 73 complaints/calls for service were handled by the Vinton Police Department.
