Benton County had held pretty steady in COVID 19 cases without a spike. One more case was added on Saturday. We've been fortunate to have only had one death in the county which occurred early on in the pandemic.

As of Sunday night the following stats were provided for Benton County. The total number of people tested is 1,144 with 1,098 testing negative.

There have been no outbreaks at long term facilities in Benton County, (thanks workers for going through all the extra steps to protect our elderly).

Of the 44 cases, 33 have now recovered.

64% of the Benton County cases had symptoms

4% were ages 0-17

43% were ages 18-40

35% were ages 41-60

13% were from 61-80

5% were over 80


Across the state:

265 Hospitalized

85 are in the ICU

53 are on ventilators

27 have been admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours

Over 45% of hospital beds are available

492 ICU beds are available

79% of ventilators or 755 are available
