Government : Golf Cart Ordinance Updates, Signage in New Division, Public Hearings Set

Golf Carts

The City Council approved the ordinance amending provisions that pertain to golf carts. It is worth reminding drivers of golf carts that you are not allowed to drive the vehicles on the following roads:

Highways 150 or 218, but you can cross these routes.

4th St. from 3rd Avenue to 9th Avenue (the Boulevard) but you can cross it.

3rd St. from K Avenue (Highway 218) to 9th Avenue, (because this is a hospital route) but you are allowed to cross it.

Anderson Creek Traffic Signs

The city also approved the following "traffic control devices" aka street signs for Anderson Creek Addition.

No Parking Signs along the west side of Viking Drive, for traffic headed south.

No Parking Signs along the west side of Blue Jay Avenue for traffic heading south.

No Parking Signs along the north side of Homecoming Court, for traffic heading west.

A Stop Sign o Viking Drive at Homecoming Court for traffic heading north.

A Stop Sign on Blue Jay Avenue at Homecoming Court for traffic heading north.

A Stop Sign on Homecoming Court at 25th Avenue for traffic heading east.

Public Hearings Set for July 23

A public hearing on plans and specs for street projects was set for July 23

A public hearing on appeal from Andrew Weyer to keep dog, was also set for July 23rd
