On Friday the Governor issued a new proclamation removing several restrictions concerning COVID. While it is not spelled out in the new proclamation, the difference is seen in what is NOT in the new proclamation.
-Iowans are no longer required to wear masks in public.
-Businesses are no longer required to limit the number of customers or require social distancing.
-There is no longer a limit on public gatherings.
The Governor encourages vulnerable Iowans and those 65 and older or those with serious health conditions to limit their activities outside of their home. This includes trips to businesses and establishments where other people gather. The Governor also encouraged Iowans to limit in-person interactions with vulnerable people.
