Government : Tony Chavez Announces Bid for Iowa House

Today, Tony Chavez (R-Cedar Falls) announced his election campaign for Iowa House in House District 76. "Bringing people together to solve the bigger issues has always been my passion," said Chavez.

"After being involved in local politics, I'm running to serve my community and the people of the 76th District." Tony Chavez is a community organizer and political consultant.

He is actively involved with the Faith & Freedom Coalition, as well as the treasurer for the Cedar Valley Young Republicans. Iowa House District 76 includes parts of Black Hawk, Tama, and Benton counties, which hosts southern Cedar Falls, Hudson, La Porte, Traer, Dysart, and Mount Auburn, as well as a part of Waterloo.

Tony Chavez will be seeking his first term in the Iowa House. He currently lives in southern Cedar Falls
