Government : Electric Rebate Applications Available Online for Vinton Residents

The City of Vinton is excited to announce a new partnership with the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU) to help facilitate our electric rebate program!

Beginning April 18, 2022, all rebates will need to be submitted through an online portal located at www.cityofvinton.org under "Departments" - "Electric" - "Rebates." (or click here)

Staff at IAMU will use their expertise and resources to review the rebate application and determine if the product qualifies for the selected rebate. Final approval of the rebate still lies with the General Manager of the Electric Utility. Upon approval, the rebate amount will be issued as a credit toward the applicant's utility account.

The list of rebate offerings is still managed and approved by the Vinton Municipal Electric Utility Board of Trustees. The list of offerings is subject to change at their discretion.
