Gov. Reynolds Statement on the Indictment of Donald J. Trump

Gov. Kim Reynolds released the following statement in response to the politically charged indictment of President Donald J. Trump:

"This sham indictment only serves as a reminder to Americans that there is a two-tiered justice system under Joe Biden.

"While New York faces an open season for crime, the Manhattan DA is focused on arresting a former president. This is what an assault on democracy looks like - using government power to go after your political opponents - and it's coming directly from those who proclaim to 'defend' it.

"This isn't normal, it isn't 'justice,' and it's certainly not what America stands for."

NJG March 31, 2023, 4:04 pm This is exactly what America stands for. No one is above the law, not even a former president. He has been aable to get by with his corrupt lifestyle for years but not any more.

Reynolds is doing everything she can to look like good VP material to Trump and DeSantis.

The majority of people in this state are considered to be second class citizens while she imposes DeSantis style reforms on us. Our children are going to suffer the consequences. I'm glad I didn't vote for her.

What has changed, is we have people in power turning a blinds eye to it. Trump is getting exactly what he deserves. Trump is a decades old bully, and I'm not talking about his age. He's a liar, schemer, cheat, threat to our society and democratic republic. But wait, there's more...and this is on you and the Republican party. YOU support his grifting, his denigration of our country, his taking us to be fools to achieve his dirty deeds, his blatantly obnoxious treatment of women, his cheating people out of money. So yes, this is on YOU and your right wing party. And, this is why you will never get elected in this state again if I have anything to do with it. Oops, cat's out of the bag.
