PUBLIC NOTICE

The Benton County Board of Supervisors, has received a construction permit application for confinement feeding operation, more specifically described as follows:

Name of Applicant: Geno Source, LLC

Location of the proposed construction: Section 25 of Leroy Township.

Type of confinement feeding operation structure+ proposed: One new free stall confinement barn to house 950 head of mature dairy, 800 head of immature dairy heifers and 100 head of dairy calves, dry manure stacking areas and a 33.6M gal earthen basin as an expansion to an existing dairy facility.

Animal Unit Capacity Of The Confinement Operation after Construction: 9740 animal units.(5600 head of mature dairy cows and 1900 head of immature dairy cattle)

Examination: The application is on file at the Benton County Auditor's Office and is available for public inspection during the following days:

Monday through Friday and hours: 8 am to 4:30 p.m.
